ABOUT ME

My name is Celeste and a couple years ago I relocated to the Bay from Seattle. I’ve been singing since I could speak (I’m always up for a karaoke night). I love to read and watch movies. I love to travel, especially anyplace warm. 

Having grown up in Northern Nevada, moving to San Francisco feels a bit like coming home. I’m enjoying exploring the city again and making it home for real this time.

MY WORK

I have spent the last 19 years working in the world of Internet technology as a Product Designer, User Experience Designer, Interaction Designer, Usability Researcher and User Interface Designer. For all that time I have been an outspoken user advocate. With every project, with every design, I am always seeking to create an experience that engage and delight users.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Interaction Design is invisible. People struggling at home never say "What a terrible user experience I am having!" Interaction Design is directly linked to the user experience. When the experience is good, brand loyalty is built. When the experience is bad, the customers take that with them as well. My job is to create consistent, easy-to-use designs that help customers complete their tasks with ease and grace, while increasing the customer's brand loyalty.
